Description

Overview:

Are you looking for that ultimate outdoor adventure that leaves a lasting impression?  Then go on a trek of a lifetime!  During these multi-day SOLE Experiences, SM participants will load their canoes or packs and head out “into the wilds” of Montana as a member of an actual backcountry expedition! Seasoned Field Instructors set the stage by teaching lessons related to outdoor technical skills, outdoor leadership, and Leave No Trace ® which provides the working foundation to practice applying newly learned content throughout the course of the expedition. Over time, with effective coaching and feedback, participants are able to further develop these skills and become more confident as a result.  In addition to these and other aspects of our novel LEAD SM curriculum, participants end their Teen Trek Experience SM  with a culminating service-project allowing them to make a difference and give back to the land that they have grown to appreciate.
